Linhai Hengyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in Linhai Park, the base of chemical raw materials in Zhejiang Province. The company's predecessor was Linhai Dafen Shengli Chemical Factory. It was one of the earliest manufacturers to produce allopurinol, a specific drug for treating gout. The factory was established in May 1988.
