Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate（VC-IP）

Introduction

Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate (VC-IP), an esterified Vitamin C derivative, is also a new generation of derivatives. Other names: tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, esterified VC, fat-soluble vitamin C.

Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate was approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan as a “Quasi-drug Active” in 2006, and is an officially approved functional whitening agent in Korea, as well as the only one of the 13 whitening ingredients approved by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Taiwan Province “Drug-containing cosmetics”.
