Cyclohexanone

Cyclohexanone is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H10O. It is a saturated cyclic ketone with the carbonyl carbon atom included in a six-membered ring. It is a colorless and transparent liquid with an earthy smell. When it contains trace amounts of phenol, it has a minty odor. Its explosive limit when mixed with air is the same as that of open-chain saturated ketones.
